Use these carefully
Adapt every message to the inspection, scope, and homeowner’s stated timeline. Respect communication consent, opt-outs, and applicable messaging rules; automation capability does not itself create permission to send.
Estimate received
When to use: shortly after sending the estimate. Template: “Hi [Name], this is [Name] from [Business]. I sent the estimate for [address] and wanted to make sure it reached you. Would it help to review the scope or options together?” Customize: project and contact details.
After an inspection
When to use: the homeowner is considering inspection findings. Template: “Hi [Name], thanks again for meeting us at [address]. Do you have any questions about the inspection notes or the estimate options?” Customize: only facts already discussed.
Comparing bids
When to use: the homeowner says they are comparing proposals. Template: “Hi [Name], comparing roofing proposals can involve different materials and scope details. If you want, I can walk through what is included in ours so you can compare like for like.” Customize: scope differences, without criticizing competitors.
Financing or scope question
When to use: a real question is open. Template: “Hi [Name], I wanted to follow up on your question about [financing/scope detail]. I can clarify the information we have or arrange a time to talk.” Customize: do not promise terms you cannot verify.
Close the loop
When to use: after respectful planned attempts. Template: “Hi [Name], I’ll close out the estimate for now so we do not keep bothering you. If you want to revisit the roofing work or have a question later, you can reach us at [contact].” Customize: the appropriate return path.
